Community Info

Limerick Township has a permanent population of 345, with 900 seasonal ratepayers forming the rest of our community.  We also attract many visitors throughout the four seasons who come to enjoy our vast network of lakes and rivers.

The Townships location is easily accessible through highways 62 & 620, the Hastings Heritage Trail and/or the historic Hastings Colonization Road, or through out vast waterways system via neighbouring municipalities.

Lumbering and tourism are our most valuable resources second only to our main resource being our residents themselves.  The Township flourishes through the willingness of it's residents, their families and friends who give of their time and services to make our community the thriving place that it is.

The township Community Centre is at 175, Hwy 620, and the Municipal Building / Garage / Fire Hall are situated at 89 Limerick Lake Road.
